Introduction

We Love Martech is a registered company limited by guarantee with its registered address at 61 Simei Rise, #01-62, S 528794 (“We Love Martech”), operating as a non-profitable social enterprise that organizes events and workshops with the aim to create a platform to share, learn and explore ideas around maximizing the impact of marketing using data and technology.

These are the Terms and Conditions that apply to the website and events organized or coordinated by We Love Martech either solely or jointly with its event partners (hereafter “Events”). By applying for registration to participate in any of the Events you agree that these Terms and Conditions apply to you in respect of such application and your participation in the Event. Should you not wish to accept these Terms and Conditions you should not register.

1. Terminology

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Disclaimer Notice, and all Agreements:

"Client," "You," and "Your" refers to you, the person logging on to this website and compliant with the Company's terms and conditions.
"The Company," "Ourselves," "We," "Our," and "Us" refers to our Company.
"Party," "Parties," or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves

2. Use of Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, We Love Martech and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on We Love Martech. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from We Love Martech for your own personal use, subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

4. User Comments

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. We Love Martech does not filter, edit, publish, or review comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of We Love Martech, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions.

We Love Martech reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive, or causes a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

You are entitled to post the Comments on our website and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;
The Comments do not invade any intellectual property right, including without limitation copyright, patent, or trademark of any third party;
The Comments do not contain any defamatory, libellous, offensive, indecent, or otherwise unlawful material, which is an invasion of privacy;
The Comments will not be used to solicit or promote business or custom or present commercial activities or unlawful activity.

You hereby grant We Love Martech a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, and authorize others to use, reproduce, and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats, or media.

5. Events

We Love Martech Events include meetups, panel talks and networking events.

We Love Martech determines at its sole discretion the location, timing, format, purpose, and all other aspects of the Event. We Love Martech may change any aspect of the Event, without limitation, where it considers it is reasonably necessary to do so.

6. Participation Criteria And Attendance

We Love Martech may specify participation criteria for the Events.

“Criteria” means the criteria set out in the Event description. Before you apply for the Event registration, check the description of the Event on the website to find out if there are any participation criteria and, if yes, whether you meet them or not.

All registrations for participation in the Events are subject to availability of seats. Any availability information is subject to change without notice.

If you registered for the Event, but for whatever reason cannot attend it, you must cancel your registration by contacting We Love Martech in a way indicated in the Event description.

We Love Martech herewith retains the right to refuse your application by giving you a notice in the following cases:

full capacity of the Event
multiple failures to attend the Events you registered for without prior cancellation of your registration,
other situations where We Love Martech may find it appropriate to refuse your application.

We Love Martech retains the right to refuse your attendance on the day of the Event in case of your late arrival to the Event.

7. Event Conduct And Behavior

We Love Martech is committed to providing a productive and welcoming environment to all participants of the Events. We Love Martech likes to create respectful and judgment-free spaces, where everyone is heard.

We Love Martech has no tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form at the Events. Participants are expected to adhere to these principles and respect the rights of others.

8. Participation Fee

Participation at the Events is free of charge, but registration is compulsory.

We Love Martech reserves the right to charge a participation fee to cover expenses incurred in connection with the conduct of the Event. In such case the relevant note will be included in the Event description.

9. Privacy

We Love Martech is committed to data privacy and protecting your personal information. Information on how We Love Martech collects, processes, and uses your data is included in the Privacy Policy which is hereby incorporated into these Terms and Conditions.

We Love Martech may collect and use personal information you provide throughout the process of registration for any Event for the purpose of facilitating your participation in that Event, and for event management. This information includes your name and email address (a valid email address is required for all registrations) and any details required for registration for any Event.

By applying to participate in any Event, you agree that We Love Martech may send you event-related information, including, without limitation, changes and/or additions to that Event. Additionally, you give your consent for We Love Martech to contact you in future by way of electronic messages in relation to other activities organized by We Love Martech or third parties. You can unsubscribe from these messages by using the “Unsubscribe” function on the message.

We Love Martech may share your personal information with event partners and/or third parties engaged by We Love Martech(for instance companies and other persons who provide us with venues and facilities for organizing Events, software and data necessary for these Events or other services and to our photographers) to assist in the conduct of the Event solely for the purpose of facilitating your participation in the Event for the reasons provided and only for the time necessary. We Love Martech will not disclose your personal information to any other third party without your consent except where required to do so by law.

10. Confidentiality

We Love Martech may provide you with confidential information during the Event, including information relating to other Event participants. Such information must only be used by you for the purposes of the Event and must otherwise be kept confidential by you.

Such confidential information must not be provided to any third party without the prior consent of We Love Martech and any other Event participants whose confidential information is to be disclosed.

Additionally, for the purpose of the Events We Love Martech may provide you with confidential information related to event partners of We Love Martech or their products and services. In those cases your participation in the Event may be subject to signing of a separate non-disclosure agreement by you.

We Love Martech and event partners of We Love Martech create presentations, instructions, guides, other training documents, materials and content for the Events. These documents, materials and content are provided to you strictly for your personal use. You are not allowed to publish, display or distribute any part of these documents, materials and content, sell or offer them for sale, use them in any other way not expressly authorized herein.

11. Usage Of Photographic And Video Material

Photographs and/or video may be taken at any Event. By taking part in the Event, you grant We Love Martech full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for publicity and/or promotional purposes. This may include, without limitation, the right to use them in printed and online publicity materials, social media, and press releases.

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree as follows:

(a) We Love Martech may edit and use footage it captures at the Event for promotional activities and for any other lawful purpose in the ordinary course of its operation; and

(b) due to the prevalence of mobile recording devices in today’s world, We Love Martech disclaims all liability for the capture of your image in any multimedia format by other attendees at the Event.

12. Exclusion Of Liability

We Love Martech will not be responsible or liable in any way for any claims, injuries, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities which may happen during the Event or result from your use of any training documents, materials and content provided to you in connection with the Event.

If you bring children to the Event, you take full responsibility for them unless anything else is announced by We Love Martech in respect of the Event.

From time to time event partners of We Love Martech may provide, on their own initiative, catering for Events. We Love Martech does not provide catering for the Events and therefore is not obliged to meet any dietary preferences. We Love Martechwill not be responsible for any allergic reactions, injury, illness, death or losses (e.g. loss of enjoyment) arising from consumption of food served at the Events.

13. Cancellation

We Love Martech may, at its sole discretion, cancel any Event at any time for any reason by notice in writing.

In case participation fee was charged for the Event that was cancelled by We Love Martech, a full refund of the fee paid will be made.

14. Breach Of Terms And Conditions

In case you breach these Terms and Conditions in whole or in part, We Love Martech retains the right to prohibit your admission to any of We Love Martech Events.

15. Third-Party Events

It must be noted that We Love Martech may publish on its website the information about events organized and coordinated by third parties and, therefore, covered not with these Terms and Conditions, but with terms and conditions set up by those third parties. In order to find out if an event is organized by a third party, check the list of organizers in the description.

16. Miscellaneous

We Love Martech reserves the right to change, amend, add or remove any of the above Terms and Conditions in its sole discretion and without prior notice. If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms and Conditions should become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore to determine all issues which may arise under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
